#101 "Rusty II "

24x36 oil on canvas gallery wrap....this was painted from a small study of an old barn at mr. thompson's.....the mountains were actually trees but i used my imagination and changed to fit my mood....i worked very carefully with details of weeds in the foreground and decided it was too busy.... so i scrubbed in more solid shapes to try and subordinate the foreground so the eye would go first to the barn
